Every once in a while I like to pop this question to our Oppo community. I think it’s a fun way to see each others’ tastes in art and maybe get some fresh images for our own devices. Plus, we’re always getting new members! Oppo, what’s your current wallpaper?

Mine are always changing. Right now, I’m really fangirling over my favourite YouTuber that isn’t my boyfriend, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! !

As such, I started rotating through thumbnails of his videos on my gaming PC and my FSX rig.

My iPhone Lockscreen is my favourite photo of Mister GMC and myself (same pic as my Kinja profile pic). Meanwhile, the Home screen is a pic of my two latest custom PC projects.

And on my MP3/Modded Spotify/Modded Pandora/ASMR side phone, both screens are from my trip to pick up my fourth smartie.

Also, lately all of my pics have been posting blurry-looking. They’re high res when I add them to a post and I’m still writing, but after I hit publish they automatically take a huge hit in quality. What the????

I’m the worst, all my device are default. my phone, desktop and laptop are all default in appearance. I don’t care enough to change that. haha hardware and software is otherwise optimized but i don’t see a need to bother changing appearance.

My current desktop has been the same image for about 2 years now. We went on a trip to my cousins wedding at the top of a mountain in Vail, Colorado. Most people think it’s a stock photo lol.

This is an unedited shot taken with my last cell phone, an LG G3. The natural beauty out there is so impressive even that old phone snagged a great shot.

At this actual moment my laptop background is this S-Type R. However I have something like 1,000 wallpapers that rotate randomly every 5 minutes. So ask me again in a few.

I have a folder of nearly 3,000 images of planes and cars that I have collected over the years. My desktop changes every few minutes. However, I have so many browser and email and other windows open that I rarely see the desktop. This is what it looks like right now:

I really need to actually play the game lol. I just randomly came across the wallpaper and liked it a lot. Later found out it was from Firewatch. I’ve heard it’s really good, but haven’t gotten around to trying it.

I took a similar shot of a lake on an iPhone 4. It’s amazing how phone cameras can be even several gens ago. I love it!

For the res issues you’re having with posting pics, I’ve noticed Kinja has changed the way they upload photos. You can see this if you click on a photo to expand it, then right-click on it and say view photo - you’ll note a ‘qa’ [quality] and ‘w’ [width] portion near the end of the URL where they are now scaling the quality and resolution...

For me - wallpaper on my Linux Mint laptop, not surprisingly :P

I love that first one. I’ve got around 2500 hours flying the CRJ900, I love the aggressive nose down attitude and 45deg winglets. Just a beautiful airplane.

One of my favorite spots on earth. My family has been hanging out in this area since the ‘60s - I still remember riding on the back of dad’s bike and going for a cup of clam chowder over at the Crab Cooker. When in college, several times a week after work and before studying, I used to go surfing at The Wedge (not shown in the above image) until the sun went down, making it almost impossible to find my keys and glasses. If I ever win the lottery I’m going to buy one of those ridiculously overpriced houses on the ocean and spend the rest of my days as a beach bum.

Another system has my old hometown airline over my favorite surfing spot.

That’s incredibly annoying. When I click on images, I’m doing it to view the full version. I hate that there’s an extra step now. Even more so that the extra step has to be performed by manually manipulating the address.

It’s a great shot. Interestingly, we don’t get all that many CRJs here in Austin. Mostly E175s or A318s in that size range.

I used to do the LGA-AUS and DTW-AUS run periodically in the 900. DTW wasn’t bad, but NYC to AUS is way too long to be in a 900 if you’re not in first class. I’ve done it in an E190 as well, that’s a much better fit.

The upper picture is a screenshot I took in Elite Dangerous on the PS4.

The lower picture is a real photo taken of earth through the rings of Saturn. There is something so powerful about that photo, I don’t think i’ll ever change it., if I start getting to absorbed in myself I see that photo and it kinda puts things in perspective.

My PC, my private, and my school VM’s all have stock screens. I can’t remember what my Chromebook has but I can’t log into it because the keys I need are not functioning. My mom uses it though because her password doesn’t require the broken keys :P
